The uniontownship.com site posted information about their 2nd Annual Turkey Trot coming this Thanksgiving. Here are the details:
Join us for our 2nd Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk on Thursday, November 27, 2025. Check-in and Day of Registration open at 7 a.m.; 5KRun & 1mile walk begins at 8:00 a.m.
The start line is in front of Weber Park on Rahway Avenue. Each registered participant will receive a shirt and beanie at check-in (while supplies last) and a medal at the completion of the fun run.
Costume Contest:
Prizes for the top best-dressed costumes in the following categories:
- Best Turkey Costume
- Best Group Costume
Water & Aid Station
We will have one water and aid station set up by Weber Park. Restrooms are also located near the start line inside Weber Park.
Parking
Parking is free at the Liberty Ave & Rahway Ave parking lot or the Ideal Professional Office Park off Lousons Road. We suggest parking on any of the surrounding streets or near Rahway Avenue.
