CENTURION UNION has experienced accelerated rental activity in recent weeks, vaulting the new collection of 80 upscale residences in Union Center to the 50% leased mark.

The new five-story building reached the noteworthy milestone in short order despite its owner having to adopt a digital leasing strategy almost immediately after opening.   The announcement also comes as the first residents have begun moving into the building.

Several factors can be attributed to CENTURION UNION’s widespread appeal and success in the face of today’s challenging times, according to its developer American Landmark Development, which tapped The Marketing Directors to oversee the marketing and leasing program.  First is the opportunity to move into a brand new, luxury apartment within a modern residential building.  Residents also appreciate the convenient location within Union Center, a popular downtown district that blends commuter convenience and long-cherished restaurants and shops with a new array of contemporary dining and retail services.

CENTURION UNION also offers a compelling value proposition when compared with more densely developed areas like Hoboken, Jersey City and other locales.  Net-effective monthly rents start at $1,830 for one-bedroom apartments and $2,415 for two-bedroom homes, with up to two free months, a limited time $50 monthly bonus, and a reduced security deposit. Immediate occupancy is available, with additional incentives available for quick move-ins.

“The realities we’re all currently facing have people reevaluating their lifestyles, with greater value being placed on larger living spaces and less congested areas,” said Manuel A. Fernandez, Founder of American Landmark Development. “That combination has helped fuel leasing activity at CENTURION UNION, along with the peace of mind that comes with residents knowing they will be the first ones to live in their home.”

Just weeks after opening its rental program, The Marketing Directors rolled out a comprehensive digital presentation program at CENTURION UNION.  The immersive platform allows leasing agents to virtually tour prospective renters through the building’s model homes, amenities and social spaces while safely practicing social distancing. The personal presentation utilizes video, images, floorplans and other digital tools to fully demonstrate the new lifestyle offering.

Generously appointed homes at CENTURION UNION feature keyless entry doors and expansive living spaces with nine-foot ceiling heights, wide wood-style plank flooring, and vented in-home washer and dryers by GE.  Kitchens offer full-size slate GE appliances, gas range stoves, island/peninsula workspaces and quartz countertops, while luxurious baths are equipped with glass-enclosed showers, porcelain tile and polished chrome fixtures.

Residents of the 24-hour access-controlled building will also enjoy a modern suite of amenities to provide a complete lifestyle experience.  The building’s fitness center features state-of-the-art cardio and weight-training equipment, including The Mirror, an interactive fitness system that provides access to thousands of real-time workout regimens and classes.  CENTURION UNION also features a game room, resident-only lounge, flexible co-working space, children’s playroom, dog run and onsite parking.

“CENTURION UNION is attracting renters from throughout the area and New York City who appreciate its eclectic downtown location, access to public transportation and modern homes and amenities,” said Adrienne Albert, CEO of The Marketing Directors.  “Situated in the heart of Union Center just steps from dining, shops and services, it delivers modern living and a convenient lifestyle not previously found here.”

Ideally located at 975 Bonnel Court, CENTURION UNION is in the heart of Union Center, which is quickly gaining momentum as a sought-after downtown setting with its unique character and streetscapes rooted in tradition and history.

Commuting is a breeze from Union which lies at the crossroad of Routes 78 and 22 and the Garden State Parkway.  New Jersey Transit’s Union Station provides service to Newark Penn Station.  Buses to New York City depart just a quick walk from Centurion on Morris Avenue.

CENTURION UNION is the first of a multi-phase project in Union Center, where American Landmark Development has been designated by Union Township as the redeveloper of the Stuyvesant Avenue Redevelopment Project.  The initiative is infusing a new level of energy and excitement into Union Center with nearly 300 new homes and approximately 27,000 square feet of retail space housed in four buildings once complete.

The development is also the first in a new signature series of CENTURION rental communities planned by American Landmark Development in key New Jersey urban markets.
