Metastatic Breast Cancer Fundraiser Watch Party at Stage House Tavern in Scotch Plains

Scotch Plains City Lifestyle Magazine will host a watch party for #LightUpMBC Live on Tuesday, October 13, from 7 to 10 p.m. at Stage House Tavern, 366 Park Avenue in Scotch Plains. The event raises funds for metastatic breast cancer research.

The virtual broadcast begins at 8 p.m. and is produced and hosted by Scotch Plains resident Tami Eagle Bowling, who is living with metastatic breast cancer. Broadway performer and breast cancer survivor Kara Lindsay, known for playing Glinda in Wicked, will co-host. The program includes patient stories, updates on breast cancer research, musical performances, and the lighting of landmarks around the world.

Food will be provided at no cost, and a cash bar will be available. A minimum donation of $25 is suggested at the door. The Pink Room Shapewear, one of the event sponsors, will offer complimentary bra measurements during the evening.

Those unable to attend in person can watch the broadcast on the METAvivor YouTube channel or on METAvivor’s Facebook Live. More information and donation options are available at LightUpMBC.org.
