Kean University announced a new partnership with the nonprofit College Steps for the dall 2020 semester. The new program serves to provide support to students with learning and social challenges such as learning disabilities, autism and executive functioning deficits.
Through working with College Steps, Kean will provide comprehensive specialized support, including peer mentoring, group seminars and individualized learning plans. The nonprofit’s goal is to aid students achieving success in post-secondary education, work and life.
The program will be available to current students on the Union campus and to high school students seeking transition-based help.
