Garwood Still Rocks! will take place next weekend (Sunday, September 19th) in Downtown Garwood, NJ. For the first time ever, the fun-filled event will take place in the fall thanks to the efforts of its key sponsor Vermella at Garwood Station, reports its organizer the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce (GWACC). The new luxury rental community from Russo Development, which features 296 stylish apartments and an impressive 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities, will open this fall in this Union County borough.

“We’re delighted to help support this wonderful event,” said Ed Russo, Chief Executive Officer of Russo Development. “This annual gathering of residents and visitors in a family-oriented setting enjoying so many of the things that make Garwood special is a great example of the strong sense of community that exists here which attracted us to this close-knit neighborhood. We came to town to be an active, contributing neighbor, and look forward to helping Garwood Still Rocks!”
Garwood Mayor Sara Todisco said “I am beyond excited for the return of our street fair with Garwood Still Rocks! happening in September. It’s a highlight of the year to see our community and neighbors come together to enjoy the live music, car show, food, and shopping. I’m very grateful for the key sponsorship by Vermella at Garwood Station, which helped make this day possible along with all the other sponsors and the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce.”
