Fearvana Yoga in Kenilworth Launches Kids Yoga Programs

Fearvana Yoga, located at 600 Boulevard in Kenilworth, is bringing back its Fearchasers youth programming this November, with three separate offerings for children ages 5 to 10 running through May. Instructors Ms. Tess, Ms. Syreeta, and Ms. Lena will lead the sessions this season.

The Kid Yoga Club meets Thursdays at 6:15 p.m. and introduces children to yoga poses, breathing exercises, games, mindfulness, and creative activities. Families can purchase a single class for $35 or a 10 class pass for $280, which can be shared among family members. Introductory studio specials do not apply.

The Yoga and Mindful Crafts Workshop takes place one Saturday a month, with upcoming sessions on November 21 and December 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Each workshop combines yoga and mindfulness practice with a craft project tied to a seasonal theme or a concept such as focus and concentration. The cost is $45 per child, or $40 for siblings.

The studio also hosts a monthly Fearchasers Night Out, giving parents a few hours of free time while children take part in a supervised evening of yoga, games, crafts, pizza, and two short shows. Some nights will include guests such as magicians, balloon artists, or face painters, and pajamas are welcome. Upcoming dates are Saturday, November 14 and Saturday, December 12 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The cost is $55 per child, or $50 for siblings, though prices may change on nights with special guests.

Space is limited for all three programs, and registration is required through the Fearvana Yoga website.
