Leasing Launches for Second Rental Phase at Centurion Union Center in Union County, NJ

Leasing is officially underway for the second phase of luxury rental residences at CENTURION Union Center, the highly popular mixed-use development that is fueling the transformation of Union Township’s re-imagined Union Center.

The boutique four-story building opens to the public with more than 30% of its 75 apartments already leased following a spirited pre-leasing period, reports LANDMARK., the community’s developer.

Ideally located at 945 Stuyvesant Avenue just steps from Union Center’s burgeoning downtown featuring restaurants, shops, and retail conveniences, the second phase of CENTURION Union Center offers one- and two-bedroom homes.  The residences are currently priced from $2,100 to $3,180 and are being offered with Grand Opening incentives that include up to two months free on a 26-month lease.  Homes are available for immediate occupancy.

The Marketing Directors, which executed the successful lease-up of the development’s first phase of 80 residences, is once again serving as the exclusive marketing and leasing agent.  The firm is welcoming prospective residents at CENTURION Union Center’s onsite leasing center and providing tours of its fully furnished models decorated by renowned interior designer Lita Dirks & Company.

“The pre-leasing activity we’ve experienced is a testament to how well CENTURION Union Center has been received by the public,” said Manny A. Fernandez, Founder of LANDMARK.  “We’ve created a sense of community here that is only getting stronger, and we look forward to welcoming our newest residents while also continuing to bolster Union Center.”

With a mix of stylish residences, modern amenities, retail services and streetscape improvements, CENTURION Union Center is helping to usher in a new era for Union Center that also includes new lifestyle offerings along Stuyvesant Avenue.

“Many residents today seek a best-of-both worlds scenario where they can enjoy a downtown, walkable environment like Hoboken and Jersey City, but with more room and less congestion,” said Adrienne Albert, CEO of The Marketing Directors.  “CENTURION Union Center delivers.  Here, renters find an activity-rich, suburban-like setting alongside the conveniences, shops and services of city-centric living.”

Center Of It All

Union Center is quickly gaining momentum as a sought-after downtown setting with its unique character and streetscapes rooted in tradition and history.  Its small-town charm is evident in family-run dining staples like Cioffi’s, the famed Italian restaurant which opened over 40 years ago on Stuyvesant Avenue, as well locally owned ethnic eateries serving Thai, Japanese, Mexican, Columbian, Portuguese, Filipino and many other global cuisines.  Classic pubs and local boutiques also line the downtown streets. These established businesses have been joined by newer retailers such as Crow and the Coconut Yoga and B Fit n Focused Fresh Juices.

Commuting is a breeze from Union which lies at the crossroad of Routes 78 and 22 and the Garden State Parkway.  New Jersey Transit’s Union Station provides service to Newark Penn Station.  Buses to New York City depart just a quick walk from Centurion on Morris Avenue.

Once completed CENTURION Union Center will add 236 new homes and approximately 27,000 square feet of retail space housed in four buildings to Union Center.
